On October 19, 2004, Municipal Mortgage & Equity, LLC (the “Registrant”) announced that its subsidiary, MuniMae TE Bond Subsidiary, LLC, completed a $73 million private placement of rated tax-exempt preferred shares (the “Offering”). Reference is made to the press release, dated October 19, 2004, annexed hereto as Exhibit 99.1, for further information regarding the Offering.
