Kodiak Copper's drill program getting some help with the addition of a second drill on MPD project

Kodiak Copper CEO Claudia Tornquist joined Proactive's Steve Darling to bring news the company has added a second drill rig to work on its MPD project in British Columbia.

The company is currently in the middle of a 25,000 metre program that is working on new targets that have not previously been drilled by Kodiak. This program is fully funded and intends to demonstrate the significant size potential of the project.

While the company has primarily focused on the Gate Zone discovery in the past two years, they have identified several other targets with similar discovery potential, and this year they will be testing four or five of those targets.

Tornquist told Proactive the second drill rig is working on a recently disclosed new drill target from surface to a depth of 600 metres extending below shallow historic copper and gold mineralization of the Man Zone in the northern part of the project. The company is also drilling at the West Zone target in the South area where new drill holes have intersected porphyry mineralization and sulphides.
