PolyMet Mining, Teck Resources team up on planned Minnesota copper-nickel mines

PolyMet Mining Corp., one of the companies pursuing a copper-nickel mine in northern Minnesota, said Wednesday it would form a $170 million joint venture with Teck Resources, a Canadian mining company that has its own designs on the region.
