Toongabbie, Australia, 22 September 2020 — Campion College, Australia’s leading liberal arts institute, has announced that it is increasing support for students enrolling in 2021.
Heading into 2021, Sydney-based Campion College has said that it will not be increasing tuition or accommodation fees, in recognition of the difficult financial situation that many families are facing as a result of the global health crisis.
Unlike many other Australian institutions, which are capping course enrolment and increasing minimum admissions requirements, Campion College is also keeping existing requirements in place to make higher education accessible to more potential students.
In order to encourage Australian students to pursue their dreams of tertiary education, Campion College has opened its Education Access Scheme to students who are struggling with hardships caused by the global health crisis and would like to request an ATAR adjustment.
Students can request an ATAR adjustment of up to five points to meet Campion College’s minimum ATAR requirement of 70 (OP 14). They are eligible to apply for the Education Access Scheme if their parent or guardian has been receiving JobKeeper or JobSeeker payments for at least three months, beginning in March 2020 or after.

As a smaller institution, Campion College has been able to resume face-to-face classes, which has been widely enjoyed by the close-knit student community. With the reintroduction of in-person instruction, the Campion College campus is a hub for learning and a fantastic place for prospective students who are eager to study in an authentic Catholic environment.
In response to the financial difficulty caused by the crisis, earlier this year Campion College more than tripled the amount of its Early Enrolment Scholarship from $1,500 to $5,000 per year. The Early Enrolment Scholarship is available for students that are commencing a three-year Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Arts or a one-year Diploma of Liberal Arts at Campion College.
In order to qualify for the Early Enrolment Scholarship, students must be Australian residents. They must be planning to start their studies in 2021 and accept their letter of offer by 15 October 2020. The additional scholarship money is also available to Year 12 students who are applying for an Early Offer.
“In addition to our scholarship for new students who enroll early, I’m very happy to announce that we’re keeping fees and requirements as minimal as possible, to encourage anyone who is interested in studying our Bachelor or Diploma in liberal arts to apply for next year,” said Dr. Morrissey.
