A woman in Austin, Texas who suffered from pain that prevented her from standing up straight was granted the ability to travel pain free to see her dying brother as a result of whole body cryotherapy treatments.

A woman in Austin, Texas who couldn’t stand up straight was given the chance she was hoping for through cryotherapy to see her dying brother one last time.
Patty Sanguily lived with severe lower back and neck pain as the result of two injuries (a raptured C2 and the lumbosacral joint). The pain was so intense that she lost the ability to stand up straight. She had been taking pain medication for months to help her cope, but eventually her required dosage to achieve any relief started reaching unsafe levels. She was advised by her doctor to stop taking the medication.
She needed an alternative method and began searching for holistic health enhancement to manage her pain. Beyond her basic need to be more comfortable, her brother in North Carolina was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and Patty wanted to see him one last time. Due to her inability to stand up straight and intense pain, she was unable to fly or sit in a car for a trip of such length.
