ETF.com – the world's leading authority on exchange traded funds and provider of clear, independent and authoritative news, analysis and education about ETFs – announced at its 2015 awards dinner on March 16 that the Pacer Autopilot Hedged European Index (PAEU) won “Most Innovative New ETF.” Sean O’Hara, President of Pacer ETFs Distributors, was among the members of the Pacer team present at the ceremony in New York City to accept the award.
In addition to winning the award for most innovative new ETF, Pacer was a runner up for two other accolades. The Pacer TrendpilotTM 750 (PTLC) was a finalist for “Best New ETF,” and the firm itself, Pacer Financial, was a finalist in the “Best New ETF Issuer” category. Earlier this year, the Pacer TrendpilotTM 750 (PTLC) won the ETF.com People’s Choice award for new ETFs.
“As an ETF issuer that was new to the market in 2015, we’re extremely proud to have made a splash right out of the gate,” commented O’Hara. “This recognition mirrors the positive feedback we’re hearing from the institutional and retail investment communities about our diversified product offering.”
“We’re pleased to be able to serve our clients and the broader investment community with solutions that each fill a specific role within portfolios,” said Joe Thomson, Chairman and President of Pacer Advisors, issuer of Pacer ETFs. “The popularity of our products even in the face of turbulent market conditions speaks to investors’ confidence in our innovative fund strategies.”
