ELBURN, Ill. - Sept. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- MA Center Chicago announced that it will hold a one-day herbal tincture workshop on Saturday, October 10, 2015, from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm. The workshop will be led by herbal experts Richo and Jebran Cech of nationally recognized Horizon Herbs, and will include tincture instruction for Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, and Echinacea.

Homespun methods and standardized formulas for the production of fresh herb and dried herb tinctures will be covered, as well as the process of formulating, grinding, weighing, measuring, macerating, expressing, storing, and using liquid herbal extracts. Participants will be able to sample tinctures and participate in a question and answer session.

“We are delighted to offer another in a series of community-oriented workshops designed to inspire harmony with nature,” said MA Center Director, Brahmachari Shantamrita Chaitanya, “and we are very pleased to have attracted nationally recognized herbal experts from Horizon Herbs to lead this one-of-a-kind session. The workshop has been structured to help participants unlock the healing power of commonly available herbs with preparation methods that can be tried at home.”

“Herbal remedies have been relied upon for centuries,” continued Br. Shantamrita, “and this workshop, which will include information about Tulsi, or Holy Basil, and Echinacea tinctures, is timed perfectly to coincide with the onset of cold weather, when people are looking to boost their systems and stay healthy.”
