Founder of Elevate Healthcare – outpatient mental health hospital released the following statement on the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

"My heart breaks as the number rises to 19 Children and Two Adults there's no words to describe this unnecessary loss of life. I pray that God brings peace and healing to all the families involved and to the community of Uvalde." This is why we are so passionate and committed to bring further awareness on mental health support and access to prevent actions like this through early intervention.

Adding, as a Dallas based outpatient hospital system we've mastered bridging the gap - now serving all of Texas providing free mental health screenings.

Since January our founder has consolidated all 15 outpatient mental health hospitals that have served over 25,000 Texas children since opening back in 2019, transitioning to virtual was the best decision as we adjust to our community needs - we've seen our numbers significantly increase within clients ages 5 to 17 years of age with severe depression, anxiety, and suicide ideation. Texas counties will have access to mental health support regardless where they are Located.

Elevate Healthcare has organized a thirteen county lunch and learn to further partner with other providers and community organizations for continuity of care. It's a matter of collaboration and the person to make it happen is our founder Margie Barilla. Elevate Healthcare has reached out to authorities and government agencies for support if needed ready to serve for support.
