NBA Week 12 Power Rankings: League’s Top 3

2021 ended great for the NBA. Much has happened with the league, especially to the teams. For instance, the Chicago Bulls are entering the year 2022 on a positive note as they have won seven consecutive matches, making them grab the sole first spot in the Eastern conference.

Also from the East, the defending champions, Milwaukee Bucks, have also been creating pleasant runs now that they have already tallied six straight wins.

On the other side of things aka Western conference, Memphis Grizzlies are still at the top after concluding their close dominions against the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers, earning their four sequent victories.

And now, to see what are the other things that have been going on with league, here are the league’s Top 3 teams for our NBA Week 12 Power Rankings:

Top 3: Chicago Bulls

Getting a win for your team is difficult by default, but if you do it seven times straight, that cuts out for something. DeMar DeRozan is leading the squad mightily so far and it seems like there’s no stopping him. Also, his current statistics is spectacular, averaging 28.4 points, 6.3 assists and 4.4 rebounds. Not to mention, he became the first NBA player to execute buzzer beaters on back-to-back nights, versus the Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards. The question is, will the Bulls bring their 2021 momentum this new year?

Top 2: Phoenix Suns

The Suns have a rather quiet but effective gameplay. Jalen Smith powered through the Suns last four games, averaging 6 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting 56.1% from the field. Also, with their other roleplayers doing the work, this team is set to deliver great results amidst hitting by all the hefty safety protocols along their way.

Top 1: Golden State Warriors

COVID-19 did not stop this Kerr-led squad as they continued to spread some magic in the NBA court. Their win against the Utah Jazz yesterday was considered as impressive as they managed to pull that one off even without their star player, Draymond Green. Plus with Klay Thompson finally getting back after a serious injury in 2019, one could say that it’s a great start of 2022 for the Warriors.

Truly, NBA came with a bang this year. And it would be a shame if you’d miss all this.
