The details at the 2021 Publishers and Producers Conference reflected one of the characteristics of this Qingdao Film and Television Expo: decisive and pragmatic, striving to connect the industrial resources to support new and prominent filmmakers and promote effective cooperation in the industry. Five films were promoted to the top five, and received 80,000 yuan in cash and other support rewards and shooting-launching service gift packages worth of a million yuan. Moreover, 11 films teams reached the agreements on the scene to cooperate with various investors and completed the signing ceremony with them, in which the total amount of cooperative investment reached more than 300 million yuan.

From the film master classes of the world’s “Movie Metropolis” to science fiction film expert exchanges, and then to the “The Hundredth Year Bloomed in Beauty” main-theme TV drama producing exchange as well as expert seminars of excellent film production, the film expo brought together numerous experts in the industry, scholars and well-known creators to explore and exchange thoughts, and guided the way for the young creators in the trendy fields of film and television production.
Production facilities: Combine the internal with external
Qingdao, which has always been famous in the industry for its photography studios of nature, has made great progress in the backlot establishment of film and television in recent years. The Film and Television Industrial Park of the Oriental Movie Metropolis has 40 domestic first-class high-tech studios, 32 setting workshops, as well as an underwater production center of a 10,000-square-meter single-unit studio with the indoor and outdoor integrated as a whole, a digital audio and video center for full-process production and the virtualization production platform of film and television.
The Oriental Movie Metropolis is preparing to build a world-class LED high-definition digital studio, integrating new technologies and processes in the game and interactive entertainment industries, and enhancing the level of film and television industrialization.
Service upgrading: The time has come and everything is in order
