WiseTribe Awarded $50,000 Grant From Impact 100 Men of Palm Beach County

Delray Beach-Based Nonprofit Will Use Funds to Build Outdoor Learning Lab STEM at SouthTech Preparatory Academy in Boynton Beach

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - June 3, 2021 - PRLog -- WiseTribe, a Delray Beach based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was named the winner of the $50,000 Impact 100 Men of Palm Beach County Grant at last night's award ceremony held in Delray Beach. Impact 100 Men supports organizations focused on children's activities and programs designed to educate and support south Palm Beach County communities. WiseTribe plans to use the funds to build an Outdoor Learning Lab STEM at SouthTech Preparatory Academy in Boynton Beach.

The Outdoor Learning Lab will be a fully functional outdoor classroom for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) learning. The space will be used to engage students and provide a natural, safe environment for effective learning with seating, whiteboards, shade, and features for teachers to enhance lesson plans. The lab will bring technology trends to life while teaching real-world science, engineering and economics.

Since 2016, WiseTribe has been dedicated to bringing community members from diverse backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and age groups together to create innovative and scalable local solutions in the areas of food, education, and societal wellbeing.
