MM-ISAC and AttackIQ Join Forces to Improve Cybersecurity Resiliency in the Mining and Metals Industry

Partnership empowers mining and metals organizations of all sizes to proactively test their security

The Global Mining and Metals Information Sharing Analysis Center (MM-ISAC) and AttackIQ, the leading independent vendor of breach and attack simulation (BAS) solutions, today announced a new partnership to help organizations validate security controls in the mining and metals industry without the need for expensive and time-consuming manual testing.

In the face of escalating cyber threats targeting the mining and metals sectors, MM-ISAC's collaboration with AttackIQ will empower its members to validate the effectiveness of their security controls using AttackIQ Flex, which provides an economical means of validating security controls without the need for expensive and time-consuming manual testing. MM-ISAC will combine its leading industry-specific threat intelligence with the adversary emulation capability provided by AttackIQ Flex.

“With many member companies looking towards modern technology to enhance, innovate, and automate the industry, a greater need for safely securing these essential systems is paramount to maintaining safe and uninterrupted operations,” said Rob Labbé, CISO-in-Residence, MM-ISAC's. “The use of AttackIQ Flex will allow MM-ISAC members to assess their readiness to defend against the adversaries active in the industry.”

Regular testing is the cornerstone of an adaptive defense, yet many organizations lack the tools and staff to effectively carry out this crucial practice on a regular basis, leaving them vulnerable to evolving threats and potential breaches. AttackIQ Flex's on-demand, agentless test as-a-service model eliminates the barriers by providing a simplified testing experience and gives detailed security performance metrics and mitigations in minutes.

"AttackIQ is committed to making the world safer by equipping organizations of all sizes with the tools they need to proactively and efficiently evaluate their cybersecurity posture," said Carl Wright, Chief Commercial Officer at AttackIQ. "We firmly believe that cybersecurity is a collaborative effort, and when one organization enhances its defenses, it collectively benefits the entire community. We are thrilled to partner with MM-ISAC to empower its members to rapidly assess their security controls, make informed decisions, and bolster their defenses against evolving threats.”

AttackIQ Flex delivers detailed security performance metrics and mitigations in minutes, enabling organizations to conduct granular security validation without recurring fees or complex deployments. It can be used by anyone within the organization, expanding testing as a service outside of traditional security teams. It sets up and runs in minutes and delivers results with immediacy.
