(b) On March 14, 2007, Jonathan D. Rich, advised The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (the "Company") that he was leaving the Company to pursue other leadership options. Mr. Rich had served as President of the Company’s North American Tire unit since December 2002. The Company also announced that Richard J. Kramer, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, was appointed President of the Company’s North American Tire unit effective immediately. Mr. Kramer is expected to continue to serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer until the Company names a replacement.
