EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Amendment No. 1 to Form 8-K is being filed to amend the Form 8-K filed by Dot Hill Systems Corp. on May 7, 2009 (the “Form 8-K”) to correct typographical errors in the May 7, 2009 press release filed as Exhibit 99.1 thereto (the “Press Release”) relating to the GAAP net loss per share, a line item title in the financial statements and a line item amount in the financial statements included in the Press Release. The corrected Press Release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Amendment No.1 to Form 8-K and incorporated into Item 2.02 of the Form 8-K by reference.
