Attached is an English translation of the summary of the letter dated January 30, 2009 filed by the Company with the Bolsa de Comercio de Buenos Aires and the Comisión Nacional de Valores.

By letter dated January 30, 2009, the Company reported that, on that date it acquired nominal value US$ 5 million of Alto Palermo S.A. (APSA)’s 7.875% Series No.1 Notes due 2017, which represents 4.17% of Alto Palermo S.A. (APSA)’s original issue for a total amount of US$ 120 million.

Consequently, since the Company’s last report on November 25, 2008, its ownership in Alto Palermo S.A. (APSA)’s 7.875% Series No.1 Notes due 2017, has increased in a total amount of nominal value US$ 10 million, which represents 8.34% of Alto Palermo S.A. (APSA)’s original issue.
