The ETF industry moves fast. Each week, we run the numbers on the ETF industry, and tally up the winners and losers in terms of fund flows and total assets. Asset giant Vanguard, tops this week’s inflows with over $2 billion in new assets. The week is looking particularly good for Vanguard in that its two closest competitors , State Street SDPR and iShares, actually saw this week’s most outflows at $2.2 billion and $1.08 billion respectively. Invesco also tops this week’s winners with $842 million in flows following a strong day on Thursday. On the smaller side, SmartETFs had a 25% increase in assets this week based on a single day’s trading for their fund the SmartETFs Smart Transportation & Technology ETF (MOTO). On the other end of that spectrum, EventShares lost almost $26% of its assets with $4.4 million outflows this week with its single fund: the EventShares U.S. Policy Alpha ETF (PLCY).
