Tinkerine Studios prioritizes premium PPE products and expands Production of Things 2.0 initiative

TheNewswire - August 5, 2020 - Tinkerine(TM) Studios Ltd. (TSXV:TTD) (OTC:TKSTF) ("Tinkerine" or the "Company") announces it is concentrating its medical device division on premium Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE") that meets or exceeds current regulatory requirements for essential and medical workers. This program demonstrates Tinkerine's priority of protecting users with a reusable and anti-fog face shield that uses a foam protective band to provide full coverage of the entire face, reducing the risk of virus droplets transmitting through mouth, nose and eyes.

The best in class approach to PPE looks at not just the protective quality of the product, but also all the impacts it will have in other areas such as product waste, product sterility, and reusability. "Providing PPEs in current times requires companies to be aware of the impact on waste generation and product sanitary practices in a socially responsible manner. Tinkerine is aware of these issues and certifies the delivery of the best possible product that can last the test of time," states Chief Executive Officer Eugene Suyu.

Tinkerine's PPEs are targeted towards the medical, dental communities, and front-line personnel that require the best in class products to keep them safe. These community's emphasis on quality, reusability, and product sterility are priorities for Tinkerine. Keeping in line with this mandate, continued efforts will be focused on a new way to envision Tinkerine faceshield products, and also expand into new grounds with a proprietary face mask product.

All products are manufactured in our Delta, BC manufacturing facility operating under Medical Device Establishment License ("MDEL") 11894 approved by Health Canada for manufacturing Class 1 medical devices.

The current market for face shields has been saturated with commodity quality, low end protective equipment that may not meet regulatory requirements for protection. Tinkerine's product solution not only addresses the safety concerns of today but looks to position the products for success beyond the immediate needs of the market due to the COVID19 situation.

Production of Things 2.0

Tinkerine's development team has been expanding its Production of Things 2.0 initiative with the 3D printing of additional materials including composite copper, stainless steel, and carbon fiber. Focus is on 3D printing with a purer composite material in a micro factory setting with agile design processes thereby decreasing the time to market for potential products.

Management recently posted a detailed discussion of the Production of Things 2.0 initiative online that be viewed at:
