CAS Welcomes New LAX Station Manager

ONTARIO, Calif. - August 4, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

Certified Aviation Services, (CAS), is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher McNierney as LAX’s new Station Manager. Mr. McNierney will manage the Los Angeles base with an emphasis on, maintaining high-quality standards in performance and efficiency. Mr. McNierney will oversee all services, repairs, and overall aircraft maintenance to ensure safety and compliance with FAA regulations. Mr. McNierney holds more than 29 years of experience in the aircraft maintenance industry. His successful background in aircraft supervision and oversight will be instrumental in working with CAS team members to provide optimal services to our customers.

Ron Torres, Director of Line Maintenance Operations, states: “Christopher McNierney brings several years of management in hangar operations and line maintenance. We are excited to have him join the CAS team at our LAX station.”

Prior to joining CAS, Mr. McNierrney held the position of Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor at American Airlines. He oversaw projects for aircraft maintenance operations and supervised terminal, hangar, and control tower processes in Los Angeles, California. Mr. McNierney studied at Colorado Aero Tech and then furthered his studies at Blue Ridge Flight School in avionics repair and finally at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Mr. McNierney was also an avionics instructor at Michigan Institute of Aeronautics, where he taught maintenance of aircraft electrical systems, aerodynamics, and aircraft instruments and wiring.
