Wednesday, July 29, is National Chicken Wing Day – Good Land Wing Company will be celebrating in grand style with its Second Annual Wing Week. Good Land Wing Co. recognizes Wing Day as an official tip of the cap to Teressa Bellissimo, who will undoubtedly be remembered by history as one of American food’s most beloved icons. In 1964, she prepared the first “Buffalo Wings” at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, little realizing she was creating what would become one of our four major food groups – the hot wing.

In Bellissimo’s honor, from Monday, July 27, through Sunday, Aug. 2, Good Land Wing Co. Boneless Wings will be only 60¢ and Classic Wings will be just 80¢.
