Rocket Insights Named to Inc. Magazine's Annual List of Best Workplaces for 2020

BOSTON - May 6, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

Rocket Insights, a product agency focused on creating beautiful apps for Mobile, Voice and the Web, has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2020. The list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of private American companies that have created exceptional workplaces through vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement, and stellar benefits.

Collecting data from more than 3,000 submissions, Inc. singled out 395 finalists for this year’s list. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Employers were then ranked using a composite score of survey results. The strongest engagement scores came from companies that prioritize the most human elements of work - employee recognition, performance management, and diversity. It is a different play book from a decade ago, when too many firms used the same template: free food, open work environments, and artifacts of “fun.”

“We’ve all spent years working for companies big and small,” said Dave Witting, Partner at Rocket Insights. “We’ve learned lessons along the way on what was important and what mattered, which is not to talk about values, but to actually live them. To treat people kindly, give them great work that keeps them engaged and allow them the freedom to practice the work life balance that works for them. It’s great validation to be recognized by Inc. and by our employees for building a company and culture we can all be proud of.”

Part of Dept, Rocket Insights is the fastest-growing product agency in the United States, with experienced UX designers and engineers who care about building products that have a real impact. After years of building some of the world’s top SaaS platforms, Rocket’s founders shifted focus to building the agency they always wanted to hire - smart, humble, senior talent who know what it’s like to “live” with the products you build. The culture at Rocket is open, honest and flat, enabling all employees to make a meaningful contribution. As such, the employee turnover rate is less than 3%.

“Building a great corporate culture comes only from strong leadership,” says Inc. magazine editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “The companies on Inc.’s Best Workplaces list are setting an example that the whole country can learn from, especially now, when company culture is more important to the workforce than ever.”
