Los Angeles, Apr 7, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - I AM A HERO LA and Jalisco's Mobile Taco Grill, an LA staple on the street taco scene for over fifteen years joined forces for the 'Taco Tuesday COVID-19 LA Initiative' with the goal of delivering over 1,000 tacos to healthcare heroes and first responders every Tuesday until this crisis is behind us. This is the second 'Taco Tuesday' of the initiative dropping off to Keck Medicine of USC, East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital, and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. This time, each ready-to-eat taco meal kits came with other donations including medical procedure masks, CLIF bars, Hollywood Hot Co. sauce, and Monster Energy beverages.

There is a huge spike in Coronavirus hospitalizations in Los Angeles. Our healthcare heroes and first responders that received their ready-to-eat taco kits, masks and more were so appreciative and grateful for this kind & delicious gesture.
Each ready-to-eat 'Taco Tuesday' meal kit contains three tacos (chicken, beef and veggie) along with rice, beans, salsa, a lime wedge, utensils and a napkin. The kits are microwave safe, so the healthcare workers can enjoy whenever they please. All food is prepared safely with vigilant and proper hygiene practices.
100% of all donations go directly to the mission to deliver over 1,000 tacos to our healthcare heroes every Tuesday throughout Los Angeles County. The big, well-known hospitals are getting lots of donations, so smaller hospitals and locations throughout the county that are being forgotten are being targeted for this initiative.
