Tech visionary, Robert Lo, explains how building community will change the way we work

Los Angeles, Apr 1, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Technology founder and entrepreneur, Robert Lo, is the driving force behind the new, game-changing gig working app, Alset, which prides building a community above all else. Workers on the Alset can barter their services, offer them as a favor, or charge an hourly rate to potential customers. Alset allows anyone to purchase or offer a service, regardless of their ability to pay or expertise. "I took the gig economy tech predecessors and vertically integrated them to democratize the way we work in the twenty-first century," says Lo. Unlike other gig working apps, users can use the barter and favors features for free. Additionally, Alset charges a flat fifty cents ($0.50 USD) for every gig booked through the paid service feature to ensure a level playing field for its community.

Founded in the autumn of 2017, Alset wants its users to invest in themselves and their communities. "Alset is designed to create community and redistribute the wealth by going to consumer-to-consumer so we are less reliant on the private sector, public sector, and government agencies for jobs. If you succeed and I succeed, then we all succeed," notes Lo. By joining Alset, people can develop new skills for customers who need their service. "I've hired some of my initial team for Alset on the Alset app! People on my team offered their services for free, got five great reviews, and are now charging for their services. They now have power in the marketplace," marvels Lo.

"In the twentieth century, power was correlated with money, but power in the twenty-first century is about accessibility above anything else.," stresses Lo. "If a user is plugged into their community, using those services, and paying it forward, we can create a revolution of sorts, the likes of which have not been seen since industrialization."

In order to access the power of Alset, users simply need to download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. "I think users will find that Alset is an actual meritocracy which will change the way we work, our collective values, and, above all, how we interact with each other," observes Lo.

Lo is also looking to the future of work and of Alset. "There are a lot of great new things coming from Alset in the coming months such as changes to our user interface design and customer experience design. I can't wait to share them with our community."
