NextFlex Presents Four Flexible Hybrid Heroes With the 2020 Fellow Award

NextFlex®, America’s Flexible Hybrid Electronics (FHE) Manufacturing Institute, presented the fifth annual NextFlex Fellow Awards recognizing four individuals who have made significant contributions toward furthering the development of the FHE and advanced manufacturing ecosystem at this year’s FLEX 2020 conference.

The winning fellows received this award for their work in transforming learning programs, helping to spearhead NextFlex workshop sessions that focus on defense applications, and developing new and emerging technology that make careers in advanced manufacturing possible to many across the United States.

This year’s NextFlex Fellow Award winners are:

  • Glenn Farris, Vice President of Marketing, Universal Instruments Corporation
  • Stephen Gonya, LM Fellow and Research Scientist, Lockheed Martin
  • Maniphone (Moni) Dickerson, Ph.D., Evergreen Valley College
  • Paul Semenza, Professor and Chair, Engineering Management and Leadership Department at Santa Clara University and Independent Consultant

“All four recipients have made great strides in increasing awareness of flexible hybrid electronics and are helping advance the technological development of the field,” said Dr. Malcolm Thompson, NextFlex executive director. “These thought leaders consistently elevate the FHE and workforce development discussion with their wealth of experience.”
