Allen Buckley Launches "Save Tomorrow" U.S. Senate Campaign

ATLANTA, GA, February 19, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Allen Buckley, a fiscal conservative, is running for the U.S. Senate seat formerly held by Johnny Isakson. He is running as an independent candidate.

Mr. Buckley's "Save Tomorrow" campaign is about living for today and tomorrow, instead of living for today to the detriment of tomorrow. The emphasis is on doing things to make tomorrow as good or even better than today, by doing things such as addressing the nation's financial problems and fighting global warming in a practical way.

Buckley said: "All of the reputable individuals and groups that analyze the federal government, including federal agencies, say the government's finances are unsustainable. It should never be so. My campaign will offer solutions to problems that the major party candidates, who have sold out or been sold out to special interest groups, won't offer."

Buckley ran against Johnny Isakson in 2016 as the Libertarian Party's candidate. In an October 20, 2016 poll by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, he polled 11 percent of the vote. He has since severed ties with the LP. He said: "I was always a very moderate libertarian. For many years, I unsuccessfully tried to cause the Georgia LP to become more moderate. It didn't work. I believe there are many really good people in the Georgia LP."

Mr. Buckley is an attorney/CPA. He can be reached for comment at (404) 610-1936. Mr. Buckley's campaign website is www.buckleyforsenate.org.
