Dr. Sloan is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, which was established in 1947 as the certifying body for the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation under the American Board of Medical Specialties. Additionally, he is board-certified in electrodiagnostic medicine by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, an independent credentialing body in electrodiagnostic medicine whose goal is to promote high-quality patient care.
For the purpose of advancing his efforts, Dr. Sloan remains a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the International Spine Intervention Society, and the North American Spine Society. Moreover, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Fellow of the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
