David W. Ellis III Named to Forbes’ 2019 List of Top Wealth Advisors

David W. Ellis III, UBS private wealth advisor and managing director of The Ellis Group, has been named to Forbes’ Top Wealth Advisors List for the fourth year in a row. The prestigious list recognizes the top 250 wealth advisors in the United States.

“Our team is diligent, focused and committed to helping families plan their financial future in order to achieve their goals. This award reflects that,” Ellis said. “I am proud to be recognized among the country’s leading advisors for the collective effort of The Ellis Group.”

For the Top Wealth Advisors list, SHOOK Research selected the advisors from more than 30,000 nominations using both quantitative and qualitative criteria. This vetting included in-person and telephone interviews, as well as reviewing industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced and assets under management.

Earlier this year, Ellis was ranked #2 in Ohio on the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor List and also received Top Financial Advisor honors from Barron’s. He has been on the Barron’s list since its inception in 2004.
