Since earning his medical degree from the Free University of Brussels in 1981, Dr. Nsouli has dedicated himself to serving his patients and advancing the field of allergy, asthma, and immunology. He is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology at the MedStar Georgetown University School of Medicine and a Distinguished Research Scientist at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Immunology in Washington, D.C. Additionally, he is a Consultant to the Indoor Environments Division of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and a Senior Consultant to the American Running Association with regard to exercise-induced asthma. 

Previously, Dr. Nsouli served as President Bill Clinton's personal allergist for the full eight years of his presidency. He continued to serve the White House Medical Unit as an allergy consultant to President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama.

In addition to being on the Editorial Board of the Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, he is a Fellow of the American College of International Physicians, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. What's more, he is the Chairman of the Washington D.C. Chapter of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology's Annual Nationwide Asthma Screening Program.

Dr. Nsouli has been awarded the Robert T. Scanlon Memorial Lecture Award in recognition of his substantial contributions to medical research. The doctor has published more than 100 research studies in the fields of allergy, asthma, and immunology.
