Manitoba artist Heather Dawson, owner of Glass by Heather, is releasing the brand new Fluttering Foliage Collection. Each product has been individually handmade by the artist herself. The Fluttering Foliage Collection (https://glassbyheather.com/product-category/fluttering-foliage/) will be released on Aug. 31, 2019, online and is available in-person during the Interlake WAVE Artists’ Studio Tour (www.watchthewave.ca) on August 31 and September 1. The tour, now in its 18th year, is the longest-running studio tour in the province.
Heather is known for using bright and vibrant colours in her work, ensuring her clients can bring everlasting colour into their homes.
For the first time, Heather has created an entire product line of her favourite and most popular fall colours. The new Fluttering Foliage Collection is scheduled to go live on Aug. 31, 2019.
The collection will be exclusively sold on her website - glassbyheather.com - and in-person during the two-day studio tour. These limited products are expected to sell out by the end of the season.
The collection is designed to showcase the many colours of autumn: bright and detailed leaves will spark the feeling of strolling down a winding forest path, with leaves fluttering all around and rustling underfoot.
A few of the products have inspirational text to instill feelings of gratitude and thankfulness this season.
All of the items are handmade with non-fading glass (manufacturer-coloured), which means art lovers will be able to enjoy the brilliant colours for as long as they own the piece.
