During her residency, she had the privilege of working at the Detroit's VA hospital where she was exposed to multiple complex foot and ankle conditions, as well as trauma surgery. Her training encompassed all aspects of podiatry, including pediatric foot care, wound prevention, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, surgical and non-surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions, sports medicine, trauma management, as well as reconstruction of complex foot and ankle deformities.
Dr. Khavari is board-certified in podiatry by the America Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). The ABPM offers a comprehensive board qualification and certification process in podiatric medicine and orthopedics. Board certification provides the assurance to both the public and health professionals that the highest level of achievement has been attained in the specialty area.
Dr. Khavari is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine.
