Qolty Announces Reactor Media Acquisition

BOSTON - February 5, 2019 - (Newswire.com)

QOLTY Inc., a leading provider of digital health technology tools and professional services in the healthcare industry across commercial and government sectors, has completed the acquisition of Reactor Media Inc. ConductScience is a provider of scientific tools in the healthcare and life science industries with a customer base of over 90 percent of American university campuses in its companies: MazeEngineers.com, Qolty.com and Doctorlingo.com.

Reactor Media

Reactor Media is a managed content distribution platform that helps users promote and measure content across multiple distribution channels with consolidated analytics and budget optimization, founded by Michael Raybman, Shreesh Naik and Jacob Alber, serial entrepreneurs and engineers in Cambridge, Massachusetts. With only $1 million in venture, angel and in-kind funding, the company, incubated as a MassChallenge Finalist, has managed to attract clients among global leaders in brand content publishing including AOL, The New York Times, Rosetta Stone and ASUS. Reactor Media’s analytics and optimization technology purpose-built for editorial content has been used by digital marketers to eliminate up to 90 percent of legacy paid content distribution workload. Employing Reactor’s proprietary content processing technology know-how within the Doctorlingo module, Qolty intends to develop tools for automated contextual translation of text extracted from the Doctorlingo.com database. Reactor Media’s technology stack and user interface will be refactored into Doctorlingo to further streamline clinician workflow in multiple frameworks, including discharge educational materials, medical documentation records and scientific manuscripts for patient learning.

Michael Raybman, Reactor co-founder and CEO, will be joining ConductScience’s executive committee as a senior executive committee technical advisory member. Mr. Raybman has an extensive technology background, is an XSITE innovation award winner and has a healthcare background as a former research engineer at Partners Healthcare/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a Harvard Medical School employee. He began his career as an Extreme Blue engineering intern at IBM.

About Qolty

Founded in 2016 as a subsidiary of the ConductScience parent company, Qolty has a customer base in multiple academic medical centers and pharmaceutical companies in the United States. Qolty’s services are delivered primarily through full and open contract partnerships with investigators in the digital health sector. Its technology stack has a performance reputation in delivering generic technical solutions to multi-disciplinary specialty digital health solutions. Its modules, such as objective integration with Fitbit monitors and SMART on FHIR compatible applications, allow for quick and easy creation of applications for both clinician and patient utilization.

Commenting on the acquisition, Shuhan He, MD, founder of ConductScience, said, “Reactor Media’s content technology expertise will bolster the Doctorlingo Qolty module as a multimodal solution to the burgeoning inefficiencies in healthcare education and interpretation. The workflows can be significantly improved using the same technological streamlines created by Reactor Media. In addition to the efficiencies, it allows for physicians to better implement their applications and digital health solutions to external facing consumers and peers for more efficient clinical utilization and implementation. I believe this complements our current service offerings and enhances our value proposition to our clients.”

Mr. Raybman further commented “I believe this is a successful continuation of Reactor Media’s efforts and delivers an excellent alignment of our team’s technology progress with a healthcare industry leader. Our unified management and optimization interface that drives performance and efficiency can now affect patients’ and clinicians’ lives and this is an excellent outcome for all of the hard-working team members of RMI.”
