Car Locksmith Reviews Help Minnesota Company End Year on High Note

The Key Guys, auto locksmiths in the Minneapolis and St Paul area, have expressed gratitude to their clients for helping them to achieve a successful 2018. Fresh off reaching over 200 reviews on Google and an average 4.9 star-rating, owner Bryan Nystrom says the last two months of the year were particularly special.

“We work really hard to satisfy the car owners, dealers, and auto repair shops we work with but we were overwhelmed by the positive reviews. It means we’ve done what we set out to do but of course, there’s always room to improve. We look forward to delivering even better service in 2019 and beyond,” he says.

The reviews came from both individuals and business clients and many highlighted The Key Guy’s speedy service and professionalism. Some of the comments are below.

“Bryan is freaking awesome. He was able to fit us in on a Sunday morning and gave us a working key (cut and program) under 20 minutes. Reasonable price, half the price you’ll pay at a dealership and he comes to you. You just can’t beat that. Thank you so much, Bryan!”

“Bryan was amazing. We called him at 7:50; he got here at 8:50 [and] got done at 9:09. It was way cheaper than everybody else we called. It was definitely worth it. We appreciate him coming out in the cold and making us a new car key.”

Many car owners need car keys made after theirs get lost, broken or stolen. Usually, they need a replacement as soon as possible. The Key Guys repair and replace keys of all makes and models in and around the twin city area. They offer 24/7 service. The company also removes keys which are stuck in car doors or ignitions. The Key Guys also help with battery replacements if necessary.

Their service seems to be appreciated by their clients. One said: “Lost my keys Saturday night. The Key Guys were available Sunday morning. They came within an hour of my call. And it took literally 10 minutes for them to program me a new key. And the price was extremely reasonable. Super helpful [service] in a very frustrating time.”

Another noted: “I was a doubter; never again after my service call. Bryan coordinated the ordering of Toyota keys. These are like the newer programmed FOB keys. After texting a good time to meet, he programmed and cut the keys in like 15 min on my driveway. Saved time and $$$ to the dealer. Recombed waiting on another car so saved even more money. We have a new key maker savior hero in the twin cities. You rock Bryan.”

“What a great job from Bryan. He was fast and professional. His price was unbeatable too. I will definitely recommend his services to all my friends.”

The automotive locksmith’s company was started in 1998 in Minneapolis, MN before it expanded to include the greater Twin Cities area. In addition to replacing batteries, programming transponders and cutting keys, The Key Guys have a website with lots of information for dealers, owners and auto shops. They also share tips on their blog for drivers and owners. Some of the things they cover include what to do if a key won’t turn, how and where to get car keys cut and how to take care of car keys.

Nystrom says it is important to store keys in a secure place and also have a spare in case something goes wrong. “Keys should be attached to a keyring and placed on your belt so you have them with you all the time. They should really be handled with the same care as a wallet. And though it may sound strange, very hot or very cold temperatures as well as moisture can also damage them so extremes should be avoided.

“However, if they are damaged or misplaced, professional auto locksmiths can repair or replace them so drivers get on the road quickly and with minimal disruption,” Nystrom says.
