Jon Mase Named Operations Superintendent of Illinois American Water’s Streator District

Jon Mase has been named Operations Superintendent of Illinois American Water’s Streator District, effective June 25, 2018.

Mase comes to Illinois American Water with more than 20 years of experience in utility operations and maintenance. He is also a veteran of the United States Navy.

Mase began his career in the utility industry at the Naval Boiler Theory and Propulsion Plant Operations School at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in Illinois. Most recently, he worked for Suez Water as a water treatment and supply superintendent.

“I look forward to the leadership and contributions Jon will make in this role. The experience he brings will help ensure continued high-quality water service to our customers in the Streator service area,” said Dave Farrar, Senior Manager of Field Operations and Production.

In addition to his military training, Mase holds several public water system and water treatment certifications.
