The Memory Care Unit Expansion of Beacon Hill at Eastgate is Worth Committing to Memory

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - February 27, 2018 - (Newswire.com)

This 16-unit addition consists of private Memory Care units, each of which offers individualized care for residents living with some degree of dementia or comparable cognitive challenge, reports a Beacon Hill representative.

Beyond their current assisted living and skilled nursing care offerings, Beacon Hill’s memory care program assists the growing segment of senior residents with an improved quality of life that’s customized to their particular cognitive needs, in a private, secure environment.

Aside from the units themselves, the Memory Care staff at Beacon Hill further enhances residents’ everyday living experience with targeted activities that address their unique intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual requirements.

“Beacon Hill at Eastgate is pleased to be expanding our 59-year history of delivering progressive, personal care to the community. As a local, faith-based, not-for-profit organization, we’re committed to enhancing the ways in which we serve seniors through our residential and clinical care programs. Our newly expanded memory care program specializes in serving residents who suffer from many different forms of dementia and memory loss.
