According to the Complaint, throughout the Class Period, Skechers made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: the Company’s domestic wholesale customers took early receipt of fall 2015 inventory, causing them to delay receipt of and, in some cases, cancel pending orders scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2015; that the Company’s domestic wholesale growth rate was not sustainable; and thus, the Company’s positive statements about its business and prospects were materially false and misleading at all relevant times. Upon release of this information, shares of Skechers fell in value materially, which caused investors harm according to the Complaint.
