Now, the company is helping to make a college education more affordable by offering one $1,000 scholarship to enable one student to pursue his or her education.
The scholarship opportunity is open to both incoming freshmen and any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program by September 1, 2016.

Each applicant is required to submit an essay of 500 words or less describing what type of kitchen utensil he or she would be, and why, through an online form following the Daily Steals Scholarship Guidelines and Regulations by Aug. 31, 2016. One student will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship, and will be notified via email about two weeks after the deadline for submissions.
The winning essay will be judged on the content, style, creativity, and how persuasively the applicant presents his or her point of view. After the deadline of August 31, 2016, all entries will be reviewed, and the winning essay will subsequently be selected by a panel of three judges.
