Food, Fun and Furniture - all you need to know about planning a memorable bank holiday party

PRLog - May 09, 2013 - NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, U.K. -- Did everyone enjoy their bank holiday weekend that has just been?  I hope everyone partied a lot and had a good time as that’s what bank holidays are for.  What’s even better is that there is another upcoming bank holiday in just a couple of weeks’ time.  If you start your planning now you could host one of the best bank holiday parties that all of your friends will remember!  Hopefully these few tips will help you on the way to being the ultimate bank holiday party host.

Food & drink is a must when planning a bank holiday party.  Whether you are going to provide a few nibbles or a full on BBQ for 40 guests, you need to have some food for people to eat, it’s just good manners!  With the drinks you want to a get a nice variety of things so that there is something for everyone.  If there will be children attending remember to get some soft drinks and maybe some simple food as we all know children can tend to be a bit fussy with what they eat!

One of my favourite things to see at a party is a fire pit, especially in summer!  They are great for lighting up outdoor areas when the sun goes in and the party is still going.  They are also a nice source of warmth that is needed once the sun is gone.  These will always be a part favourite – just make sure you have some fire-retardant outdoor furniture, just in case!

Speaking of fire-retardant outdoor furniture, have a look at some outdoor bean bags!  These are genuinely the perfect solution for garden furniture as they are affordable, fun and comfortable.  To make the party funkier you can have a selection of bright coloured bean bags scattered around the garden or patio area.

These bean bags for the garden will be a huge hit at your bank holiday party!  Companies like Bean Bag Bazaar offer free next day delivery of your bean bag so you can easily get some outdoor bean bags in time for the party!  Whatever you choose to do on for your bank holiday party, make sure you treat your guests like royalty with an outdoor bean bag!
