On January 14, 2005, Plantronics, Inc. announced the appointment of Greggory Hammann to the Plantronics Inc. Board of Directors, a copy of this press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K. Mr. Hammann was formally elected to the Plantronics Inc. Board of Directors effective January 14, 2005.
