Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On October 30, 2014 (Japan Standard Time), Eisai Co., Ltd., or Eisai, held a conference call to report its second quarter financial results for its fiscal year ending March 31, 2015. Eisai’s subsidiary, Eisai Inc., markets and distributes BELVIQ in the United States under a marketing and supply agreement with our subsidiary, Arena Pharmaceuticals GmbH. In connection with the call, Eisai reported that Eisai’s net sales of BELVIQ in the United States in the quarter ended September 30, 2014, were approximately 1.7 billion yen, or, for financial reporting purposes, $16.8 million.

We plan to report our financial results as part of our upcoming third quarter 2014 financial results announcement.
