On March 24, 2011, Amazon.com, Inc. announced that it had received regulatory approval for its previously announced proposed acquisition of Quidsi, Inc., which operates Diapers.com, Soap.com and BeautyBar.com. The acquisition is expected to close on or about April 1, 2011.
