On November 17, 2009, OMNI Energy Services Corp. (the “Company”) announced that it has successfully completed the initial offshore retrofit and installation of three of its I.M.P.A.C.T.TM separator cleaning tools. These retrofit installations are the first under the Company’s two-year contract with Stone Energy Corp., an oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Lafayette, LA.
A copy of the press release announcing the installation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. The press release should be read in conjunction with the note regarding forward-looking statements, which is included in the text of the press release.
