On February 14, 2007, NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") and Montreal Exchange ("MX") issued a joint press release to announce their intention to form a strategic alliance that includes, among other things, that the Company purchase a 10% stake of MX and the creation of a joint venture company that will serve the Canadian energy industry. The press release is attached herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
