Item 8.01. Other Events.
On August 3, 2006, Mothers Work, Inc. (the” Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors had authorized the repurchase of up to $10 million face value of its outstanding 11-1/4% Senior Notes. The Company may repurchase the Senior Notes from time to time in the open market or in privately negotiated transactions. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
